| PUBLIC SCHOOL MURAL PROJECT |
 |
Robin Hood Foundation is a non profit organization who donates
libraries – including architecture, construction, interior design, furniture, books and murals – to public schools in New York City where they don't get enough funding. Pentagram has been coordinating this project extensively for years.
This 11 panel mural I illustrated is for PS96 in The Bronx. I was contacted by designer Stefan Sagmeister (who got contacted by Pentagram) to collaborate and illustrate the phrase Stefan came up with Everybody who is honest is interesting.
The library and the mural are currently under construction and scheduled to be done on fall 2008 when the kids are coming back to school.
This project was featured in book Things I have Learned In My Life So Far (left) . |
