PUBLIC SCHOOL MURAL PROJECT, PS96 in the Bronx, New York City |
 |
Robin Hood Foundation is a charity organization who's mission is to fight poverty in New York City. One of the projects they have been working on for years is to donate libraries to public schools, including architecture, construction, interior design, murals, furniture, along with thousands of books to fill each library.
This 11 panel mural was completed in PS96 in The Bronx in January 2009, 2 and half years since designer Stefan Sagmeister and I started collaborating on this project. I am honored to take a part in this project and make a small contributions for the future of New York City by helping kids learn.
This project was also featured in Stefan's latest book Things I have Learned In My Life So Far. |
